With a dream of starting my own business, Hoosier Pattern,
Inc. originated in November, 1997 with two others. Hoosier Pattern
Inc has continued to grow in the pattern making business, gaining
a strong reputation for quality workmanship and “On Time Delivery”.
I have 27 years in pattern making and 13 years of business experience.
I enjoyed working with metal throughout high school and furthered my
education at Ivy Tech in Fort Wayne, Indiana, studying Machine Tool. Graduating with an Associate Degree, I started working at a pattern
shop/foundry using my background. For the next 13 years, I worked
under great leadership which enabled me to finish my pattern making
apprenticeship after 4 years.
I constantly encourage research for new products and procedures to
keep Hoosier Pattern Inc profitable and to further our capabilities. With
the recent purchase of a rapid prototype printer for engineering and a
laser scanner/arm, Hoosier Pattern is on the cutting edge of technology.
Working hand in hand with our customers provides quick turnaround
tooling. Whether it be customer designs or created from our CAD
modeling software, CNC machining and turning centers, we provide
them with “out of the box concepts” to assist them in achieving their
every need.
We are housed in a 22,000 square foot building and as Hoosier Pattern
Inc continues to reach for future technology and capacity, we are adding
an additional 20,000 square feet to our current plant layout. This makes
for a more productive production flow as well as creating more room for
growth and the ability to meet our present and future customer’s needs.
In 2009, I became sole owner of Hoosier Pattern Inc. I am very proud of
my employees, because without them, Hoosier Pattern Inc would not be
successful nor where it is today. With highly trained people, modern
equipment, and continued improved technology, we are able to set
ourselves apart from the other competitors. We strive with “On Time
Delivery” on every job that we do.
